Problem
community platforms needed moderation at scale and distinct experiences per user role; managing permissions by hand was unsustainable.
Solution
a multi-tier ecosystem (mobile + web + admin) with real-time moderation, credit management and role-based access control. My role: I architected the cross-platform strategy (React Native for users, Next.js for admins), implemented role-based authorisation, and designed the serverless backend with Firebase Cloud Functions.
Results
MVP shipped in weeks, with moderation response time cut against the manual flow.
